The trainer (Nandor U.) presented the information in a well structured manner, gave examples and solved exercises in order to show the practical side of each theoretical concept. He encouraged the participants to ask questions, to provide feedback and he adapted the course to the needs of the participants based on the received feedback. He answered every question with plenty of detail. He had a friendly and positive attitude throughout the course, making it easier to follow through with the high amount of information given in each session of the course. Colin succeeded to deliver the contents of the course in a smooth way and explain in simple terms when the audience had a misunderstanding. The transition he has made from one chapter to another is outstanding. Just like a story teller, combining theory with practical exercises, he managed greatly to capture our attention.

He adjusted the materials to suit me and spent some time working on some foundation points that were not in the workbook to ensure I had developed a good understanding. I appreciated that he took a little additional time to work through a few more points he thought would be useful to me, and then recommended some additional material that he thought would be beneficial in my future learning. It covered the subjects i had hoped based upon the training outline. I liked how Collin build the "programs" while explaining it to see how it works. This makes you encounter some basic mistakes like typing errors, forgetting to declare a variable and such so you know what to look for when programming on your own.

The Practical side of the course - the whole point of an instructor is to have someone to call on when difficulties are encountered. Definitions of Scrum and Product Owners etc. can be studied without the need for an instructor. But using Visual Studio, getting Specflow up and running and using it right - these are the elements of training that require an instructor. These practical hand-on exercises are the elements I liked the most. I would have liked more of this.
